She Tweeted: Thank you ALL for the fab flowers. It’s been a great 3 years as QPARA Chair. Still big challenges ahead! We are def up for them!

Although stepping down as Chair, Janis will continue to be an active QPARA member and will be supporting Virginia as she takes on her new role.
  • QPARA AGM Thursday, 10th November, 7.30 for 8.00, St Anne’s and St Andrew’s, Salusbury Road,

It’s AGM time again – but don’t be put off by the title, QPARA AGMs are celebrations. An opportunity to meet your neighbours and share a drink and delicious home-made food. During the year, QPARA spends a lot of time on weighty local issues that affect us all – air pollution, planning, parking and local NHS services, to name just a few.

But this night is a time to welcome new and current members to celebrate our achievements and reflect on how much we add to our vibrant community. Please join us at St Anne’s and St Andrew’s in Salusbury Road. If you are not yet a member, you can join on the night.

Oh yes, and we do have to go through the business of electing a new Chair. After three amazing years, it is my turn to stand down and open this position up to a new face. So please do join us at 7.30pm on Thursday.

St Anne’s and St Andrew’s Church, Salusbury Road, 7.30pm refreshments, 8pm meeting begins.
