Farewell to Helen Durnford
On July 7th 2022, members of QPARA and other friends gathered at the Bandstand in Queen’s Park to say farewell to Helen Durnford. Helen has been active in local issues for nearly 40 years and has co-ordinated the Queen’s Park Day team for about 15 years. She is moving to Wiltshire to be nearer family.

Queen’s Park Day 2020 is cancelled
We are sorry to announce that we will not be holding Queen’s Park Day on Sunday 13 September 2020. In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the likelihood of social distancing continuing for some time into the future, we have decided that it will not be possible to go ahead with the event this year. We send best wishes to everyone for good health and safety in the coming months. Let’s all look forward to September 2021! -
Queen’s Park Day stall applications put back by one month
Application forms for stalls for Queen’s Park Day 2020 will not now be made available for downloading until 1st May 2020. The deadline for submission of applications has been revised to 17th June 2020 and applicants will be informed of the outcome during the first week of July. -
