Although the sandpit is closed, the City of London Corporation hope that this play area can safely be reopened safely soon, subject to government guidance.

Queen’s Park Day 2020 is cancelled
We are sorry to announce that we will not be holding Queen’s Park Day on Sunday 13 September 2020. In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the likelihood of social distancing continuing for some time into the future, we have decided that it will not be possible to go ahead with the event this year. We send best wishes to everyone for good health and safety in the coming months. Let’s all look forward to September 2021!
